Pronounced pores/Blackheads on the face? Treatment methods depending on their type
There are many different skin types and each one has different needs. All skin types have one common problem to deal with: the different types of pores that exist on each face. Each skin type is treated differently and therefore the care routine is different. In this article we will analyze the different types of facial pores and how we can deal with them.
What are resources?
Facial pores are tiny holes located on the surface of the skin. They are connected to the sebaceous glands and hair follicles. One of their main functions is to distribute sebum throughout the skin, helping it to stay hydrated and supple. At the same time, they help it breathe, eliminate toxins and regulate the correct balance throughout the surface of the face.
What are the different types of resources?
Facial pores come in different sizes, textures, and shapes, and they vary from person to person. The reasons why a person may have enlarged pores vary depending on their skin type. However, pores can be categorized based on their size and the area they appear on.
1. Different pore sizes
The different types of pores on the face are created by different factors depending on the needs of each skin type.
- There are pores that look like the letter Y and are usually created due to skin aging. They cause a decrease in skin elasticity and do not help with skin firmness.
- There are pores that look like the letter O , which are usually associated with increased sebum production and acne.
- Finally, we have the pores that resemble the letter U , which cause a decrease in elasticity and an increase in dehydration of the skin.

In which areas of the face do the most prominent pores appear?
The face, chin, forehead and nose form an imaginary “T”. On most faces, this area is the most oily. This is why these areas can sometimes be very shiny, even on very dry skin. Pores are also more visible there. However, oilier skin is more likely to have large pores all over the face, as well as blackheads and/or whiteheads.
A. Nose and chin
Prominent pores on the nose and chin are more common. The most annoying and visible pores tend to be concentrated in these areas due to the large amount of sebaceous glands present in these areas of the face. Furthermore, due to the difficulty of seeing them, they are also difficult to remove. The spots are concentrated in the prominent pores. If the whiteheads are not removed, they oxidize and turn into blackheads. In this case, they are easier to identify but also more difficult to remove. To treat blackheads and prominent pores, proper cleansing of the skin is essential.
Proper facial cleansing
See here how you can cleanse your face naturally:
- Try Klairs deep cleansing oil. It deeply and naturally cleanses enlarged pores and helps reduce irritation.
- Use powder cleansers. The exfoliating properties of powder cleansers help your face glow. Powder cleansers reach hard-to-clean areas, such as the corners around your nose.
- Try exfoliating your face with a natural brown sugar scrub. Try leaving the scrub on for 10 minutes to achieve a deeper cleanse of your skin.

B. Front
The forehead is home to the largest concentration of sebaceous glands, and therefore the pores are more numerous and more prominent. In this area, the pores are more irritated than in other areas of the face, due to the hair care products used on the scalp and touching the face. Facial cleansing in this area requires special attention.
Using deep cleansing products with moisturizing ingredients

C. On the cheeks
The most visible pores on the entire face and blackheads are on the cheeks and nose. There, we can locate them and they are usually created by incorrect facial cleansing but also by frequent contact of our hands (which may contain bacteria) with the face. Furthermore, the cheeks and nose are more exposed to radiation from the sun. Therefore, it is necessary to pay extra attention to these specific areas of the face in order to reduce irritation and pores.
Good hydration for skin pH balance- Choose a cleansing product that doesn't irritate the skin but provides it with rejuvenation.
